Hello Aspirant,

As per the NEET 2025 standard, your AIR is 43,393, and your chances of obtaining a government MBBS seat are contingent on your category (General/OBC/SC/ST), state quota and domicile.

  1. All India Quota (15%): In government medical colleges you may find it difficult to procure a seat as a General category candidate. OBC/EWS candidates have low chances, but lower cutoff states might have slight possibilites. SC/ST candidates might have better chances in some colleges.
  2. State Quota (85%): Candidates who are in a state which has higher numbers of medical colleges (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, etc.) will experience a significantly better chance of admission - category reservations might also play a role.

Ensure to participate in both All India counselling and State counselling options. If you have the funds available (and accepts the risk), you could pursue deemed universities and private colleges as a backup plan
