First of all Congratulations for your achievement.
As you said around 8500+ AIR for SC category, then you will not be able to get any IIT directly.
Might some can provide, but they will also give their lower branches and they want to fill the seats also.

You should take part in JoSAA counselling, because not confirm, but you have chance to get admission in IIT with your rank in the stream you want.
As the reservation seats are also fixed for different categories, so you will get benefit of that.

If you are not getting any IIT with good branches, then I will prefer to get admitted through your JEE Mains marks in NITs, IIITs or GFITs.
Through this, at least you have chance of better streams as well as of good placements too.
This will help you in grabbing your confirmed seat in the placement time.

Many top Private Colleges are also there, where you can take admission on the basis of State Quota too, if you have good percentage in 12th Board Exams.
Both Boards and Mains marks are considerable in some provate colleges.
