For a general category student,last year the last rank was about 82000.So if want to take admission in 'Pantnagar University',then don't worry you will easily get a seat,but remember you will not be able to get into top branches with this rank.

And it's my personal suggesion that,if you planning to join CS/IT here,then think one more time,please contact a counseller and he can guide you about colleges.

Mechanical,Civil and Electrical engineering are quite good than other branches and these can be also an option.

Many students apply for 'Agriculture',it all depends on your interest.

So you can easily go for counselling and you will be given a seat in any of the branches,but branch matters,so choose wisely.

Because it's your branch that you will be studying for your next 3-4 years.

Hello Anurag,

Every year there is a lot of competition among the general category students.Seats are less and the number of applicants are more.Also your admission depends upon which stream you are interested to take admision in and also your domicile.Like if you are from uttarakhand and you want to pursue B.TECH IT then you have quite less chances.You have better chances for Agriculture Engineering.Chances for Civil Engineering,CSE and ECE are quite less.

At this rank, yes you can get admission in College of Technology Pantnagar. You might not get CSE, ECE and Civil Engineering, other than that you might get almost all the branch at College of Technology Pantnagar. Below is the link of it's cut off last year.
