Hello,

The cut off is institute specific, branch specific, gender specific and category specific. The seat allotment is based on rank of the candidate, seat availability, cut off, category of the candidate and preferences of institute and branch. SO if you select the NITs for which you clear the cut off you will get seat in that particular NIT. So getting seat in an NIT with the given rank depends on the above mentioned factors. Based on the previous year cut off in round 6 of JoSAA counselling here is the list of NITs in which you have chances of getting seat

  • National Institute of Technology Calicut: Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • National Institute of Technology Delhi: Computer Science and Engineering
  • National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal: Civil Engineering
  • National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli: Electrical and Electronics Engineering

As you haven't mentioned your category we assumed that you belong to general category and the above NIT prediction is based on the cut off for general category. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below
