In wbjee all the seats are alloted on the basis of GMR rank and not your category rank.

This is very difficult to predict because cut off keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

For government college your GMR rank should have been at least around 60,000 being from sc

For example,

In 2020 , in 3rd round of wbjee,  67257 GMR i. e general rank for sc category  was the closing rank for government engineering college and it was for Cooch Behar Government Engineering College, Cooch Behar for civil engineering

So, you have chance in govt colleges only if you have around 60,000 GMR being from sc
