Yeah you are having quite good rank but there is very leas chances of getting into niitand iiit butas you try for different round in counselling procedure may be yhat you can help you out.

make a google search on these nits you will get to know abt the opening and closing rank of all branches

sorry dear aspirant but you won;t be able to get any iiit with this rank. for iiits you need a rank among 3k to  4k at least. but you have a chance of getting good nits though not trichy or suratkal nit. you may get nit bhopal,andhra pradesh, punjavb, rajasthan , durgapur. you may get cse in the last rounds or special rounds.
