Hello,

As per previous year data through AIQ, the least marks required to secure a GMC seat for SC Category in West Bengal was 467 marks in three colleges namely Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital, Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital, and Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital, hence it's difficult to get a GMC with your given marks, the reason being cut-offs are quite higher.

This is purely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjective to change every year based on multiple factors like seat matrix, marks obtained in NEET, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.You can use our NEET College Predictor to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges; https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

As you belong to Maharashtra therefore you'll be applying to the medical colleges of Kolkata through All India quota. Now if we go through the cutoffs of previous year, then at least 450 marks out of 720 in Neet is required for a SC category candidate to get seat through All India Quota. Government Medical colleges of Kolkata such as RG Kar Medical College and Hospital had the cutoff marks of 499 for SC Category, Nil Ratan Sarkar Medical College had the cutoff score 510, cutoffs score of Calcutta National Medical College was 494, cutoff score of Medical College Kolkata was 584, and 549 was the cutoff score for Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, cutoff score for Sagar Dutta Medical College & Hospital was 490 etc. Check the cutoffs here http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal It is quite difficult to get a government seat with this score through All India quota. However you can try for state counselling.
I would suggest you to use our Neet college Predictor tool to know where you have good chances http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer Get your own personalized report of the colleges you may get based on your score and rank.
