I think the only obstacle in this would be a residence proof which you can get quite easily from local authorities. if you have that stating you are bonafide resident of gujarat state then you are eligible.

Your ward would be eligible for GUJCET only if they meet any one of these eligibility clauses:

• The candidates are required to be bonafide residents of Gujarat. 

• Candidates who are bonafide residents of Gujarat but are living in some other state will also be termed eligible.

• Parents should be of Gujarat origin and serving out of the state in the service of Central Government or other State Government, Armed Forces, Boards or Corporations owned or controlled by the Central or State or any nationalized bank.
