My son got 79.96 percentile. As per OBC the cut off rate is 74.5. But he has entered wrongly as general category.

Well sir, due to sir mistake and also his negligence of correcting that mistake when the portal was open for makeing a correction, now your son would be cosidered as an unlucky general candidate.

With this percentile, he has not able to qualify the JEE mains CRL rank and hence his chances of getting a seat at NIT/IIIT are extremely less.

I would recommend you to now opt for different counseling such as JAC, PEC or state engineering colleges and there make sure you fill the OBC option
