A candidate is considered a local candidate for TS-EAMCET only if they have finished 4 consecutive years of studying in the mentioned state under the local areas AU/SVU/OU. Since your son doesn't meet this criteria as intermediary is a 2 year course, he will not be considered a local candidate.
