Hi there!!!  The NIT in Maharashtra is in Nagpur.  So in NIT Nagpur you can only get mining engineering by home state quota. On your rank it is very unlikely that you would get a good branch. You will have to go for lower branches in other NITs. But since you are from Maharashtra then NIT Nagpur is the best option for you.
