Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow is going to conduct State Entrance Examination known as UPSEE for admission to Govt.-aided institutions and Private Unaided institutions affiliated to UPTU, and some other state universities of Uttar Pradesh for the session 2014-2015.

There are almost 1.5 lakhs seats for BTECH IN UPTU in about 300 Engineering colleges. Out of these seats, 65% will be filled through UPSEE 2014 COUNSELLING.  Out of these, there is a reservation of 20% seats for girls for admission in colleges of UPTU.
