Every year about 30000 students appear for around 8000 seats in various UG programs in agricultural sciences in the common entrance test. There are many fellowships available. According to data, all top students getting admission in ICAR Institutes like IARI, New Delhi, NDRI, Karnal, IVRI, Barely and CIFE, Mumbai are in line for a good fellowship. There is almost 100% job opportunities for all passing out from these great institutions.

Apart from these colleges, there are prestigious state agricultural universities like TNAU, UAS, Coimbatore,  GBPUAT, Pantnagar, Bangalore and AAU, Anand, etc.
