Hello Balakrishnan

As of now the CBSE which was responsible for conducting Neet had its regulation of conducting meet once in a year usually by the first week of May and publishing is results by the mid of June

Since we know that CBSE has To handover the responsibility to the NTS, which will possibly take effect from 2019 comma we can expect changes and regulations as you are saying, but however for the time being it is most likely that CBSE will be organising Neet 2018, and even if it is not the case there is no Official Document which speaks about the examing held twice in a year, so in the absence of any official confirmation your doubt cannot be clarified and you need to consider the fact that it is going to be held once in a year in the stipulated time as it occurs for the others as of now

Hope this helps, thank you

Hi balakrishnan.

In order to give an opportunity to the students to bring out their best performance, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) might be conducted twice a year. With the Union cabinet approving the creation of a National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct all entrance tests, it is likely that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) might be conducted twice a year. The idea behind conducting exam twice a year is to give an opportunity to the students to bring out their best performance. but do mind it, it would take time to implement this. So if you are looking forward for test in 2018 I would suggest you to focus on that and don’t bother about these. Good luck buddy

Although the National Testing Agency has proposed the idea of conducting NEET twice a year, there a numerous limitations to this proposal.

Nothing as such has been declared regarding the same since this organization has not come into power as of now.

As far as the year 2018 is concerned, NEET-UG examination will be conducted only once the notification for which will be out soon. It will be conducted by CBSE for one last time.

Any changes regarding the same will be notified as soon as it is out.

Hey hi,

First thing is that NTA will not be conducting NEET this year. It may conduct from next year or so.

We can't confirm whether they conduct the exams once or twice as NTA body has not been formed. After that only we can say and it depends on NTA decision.

Hello dear,

It's true that NTA might be the conducting authorities for these exams but let me assure you that this might come into action from 2019 onwards since exams like NEET and JEE requires a lot of preparation for these authorities too like printing papers, filling out other formalities etc so there's less time left and exam date is approaching swiftly.

So this might happen from 2019 onwards.
