To qualify for all NITs , it is mandatory to have appeared for JEE Mains alongwith minimum 75% aggregate marks in class 12th for geenral quota or candidate can be in top 20 perentile.
The candidate must possess adhar card for JEEMains 2018 and should be born on or after Oct 1st, 1993.
Unlike IITs, all the GFTIs, IIITs and NITs dont require JEE advanced scores.

To take admission in NITs you have to appear for JEE Main exam.
You have to score more then 125 marks in JEE Main to get admission in NITs and more then 230 marks in JEE Main to get CSE branch in top NITs in general category other state quota.
Make sure you get 75% marks in your boards exam or you should be in top 20 percentile to be eligible for NITs.

To get admission in NITs, you will have to clear Jee mains and Jee advanced should be cleared to get seat in IITs.
Also, to get seat in top NITs and top branches you will have to get 230-270 and for lower and average NITs, admissions can be possible if you get 150 or above.
