Yes,you can appear for the jee advance based on the jee mains exam which is conducted in april 2020.If you want to attempt for jee advance then you want to qualify in the jee mains exam 2020. If you qualify the jee mains then you are eligible for to write the exam jee advanced. For droppers also it is better to write the exam ,if you qualified you may have change to get seat in IIT.
