During the entire TNEA counselling process your seats will be allotted to you on the basis of the following factors:

The TNEA rank you secured in the examination
The total number of seats in the college of your preference
The number of colleges participating in TNEA
The order of your choice filling if filled according to your first preference at the top and so forth
Your category ( General, Pwd, SC/ST etc)
Minimum eligibility requirements met
