see a Domicile certificate is a Certificate given by the State government of the state where you reside.

Every state has certain criterias of eligibility for the obtaining the domicile certificate it depends on state to state,some of the criterias are as follows.

1.some asks proof of residing of last 10 years

2.some ask for birth certificate

3.some ask for 10 th and 12th board certificate of the state

and many more criterias are there depending on state.you enquire about the criterias for your state from near by tehsil office.

This domicile certificate is like a plus point for the students of the state because of the total seats in the state 85% are reserved for the respective state students that is the domicile holding students this gives a great relief for the cut down of the huge competition as the the students from other states even scoring better ranks cant make it there place in the reserved 85% seats.

MBBS/BDS seats
