Hello,

See, practically its very hard to differentiate between the two as both are best in their own aspects.B.Sc Biotechnology is all about career in research and development. But you will have to go for masters for getting jobs like clinical researcher, production and quality control manager , patent administration, energy and conservation, medicine and healthcare, animal husbandry and dairy farming etc.
While on the other hand if we talk about agriculture, just after graduation you will have many options for jobs in government sector and PSUs.IBPS conducts exams for hiring Specialist Officer (SO) who are graduates in Agriculture. You will have options like Food corporations of India(FCI) and of course if you wish to go for further studies then you have option for JRF.
Now, i want to drag you attention towards more on Biotechnology, in recent years there us huge demand in biotech sector as the need of research and demand for strong healthcare system is rising (specially after covid-19), we will.see a huge jump in this sector as government will invest more in the sector but we cannot deny that Agriculture growth is the prime objective of our country as we are exporter in this field so after the announcement of Atmanirbhar Bharat we will also see a huge rise in development and infrastructure strengthening of agriculture sector.

Now, i have explained you all the pros and cons of both the fields and now i will leave it you to decide.Basically your choice should be based on what interests you more because both are equally good.Do let us know your choice below and if any doubt arises then you can ask me in the comments below.

I hope this helps.

I am really very grateful to you.
I am choosing bsc agriculture because there are exclusive exams for agriculture students in government sector. And as i want to go in civil services it will be beneficial for me.

Thankyou
