Hello student,

As per the information till date, UGC published the revised guidelines for UG and PG exams, All the intermediate semester exams are scraped and promoted to next semester but terminal semester students must write the exams to provide a degree ceritifcate. UGC is not going to compromise for the terminal semester exams.

If you are in intermediate semester, then you're promoted. But if you are presently in terminal semester, then you have to prepare for your exams.

There are various news coming regarding promoting students and reviewing detention norms by the authority. Currently students need 50 percent credit to get promoted to the next year but seeing the lockdown and covid situation these rules can be changed.
