CAT is the most popular MBA exam of our country. It is mainly conducted to get admission in premier institute like IIMs. But almost all other colleges also validates CAT exam's score for admission in their college.

GMAT is the exam conducted in the whole world for getting admission in all the top rated b-schools across the world. In India also there is one premier institute i.e. ISB Hyderabad which takes admission only on GMAT score. There are few other private colleges giving admission throw GMAT score but they are not of premier rating.
