It basically has three parts

1.subject knowledge i.e engineering subjects

2.Knowlege about organisation

3. your HR and dress UP)

How to prepare for interviews

Spend few days atleast a week if its your first interview and try to look for all aspects of your pesonality where it can be imporved.
Don't think that they will not test your technical knowledge. Consider the fact that knowledge is a part of personality.
Know about the company very well, its CMD, plant location, products, Turnover, why it was recently in news. everything that is expected.
why do want to join that PSU
why you have opted for this department (you can apply to only one ).
