Panjab University (PU) is a collegiate university-funded jointly by the central and state government located in Chandigarh, India. Established in 1882 as the University of Punjab, Lahore it was relocated in India after the partition in 1947 between India and Pakistan. The university did not have a campus of its own for nearly a decade and at last, in 1956 it got its own campus on a red sandstone designed by Pierre Jeanerette under the guidance of Le Corbusier.  For more  information you can refer to the link below-
