In fact, IGIMS has a much better academic environment & better infrastructure, equipment’s & facilities than PMCH. In IGIMS classes and ward duties are done strictly as per AIIMS rules and has good administration while PMCH lacks it. There are many useful conferences & seminars by renowned Doctors from AIIMS Delhi, JIPMER, PGI Chandigarh, etc. held regularly at IGIMS.

IGIMS provides much greater stipend to MBBS interns than all other medical colleges, so money is not a problem in choosing IGIMS. So you can even move IGIMS to the first spot as it is better than PMCH.
