which college is better for mbbs igims patna or pmch patna?

Dear aspirant

As both colleges are situated in patna and are almost of the same level. If you ask according to academic and facilities it is better in igims as it is semi government college. If you ask about patients reach then it is more in PMCH than the igims as pmch is the oldest and there's patients comes from every district of bihar but patients reach is also too good for igims and it is more than enough to learn you about your subject. As IGIMS is semi government college so you will have to pay some Higher tution fee as compared to PMCH so this can be your deciding factor or otherwise both colleges are best in bihar you can choose any one of them according to your comfortablity.

You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you:

How much marks is required in neet for patna PMCH(patna medical college and hospital).please give a rough idea of this as soon as possible.

Hi Aspirant,

NEET exam is to get admission to undergraduate Medical courses in government and private colleges.

Based on previous cut off marks for patna medical college , you need to score 617 if you belongs to unreserved category, 481 if you belongs to sc category, 509  if you belongs to ST category, 615 if you belongs to OBC category, 612 if you belongs to EWS category

However these cut off marks changes every year based on some factors like number of students attended the exam, number of seats available and the difficulty of the exam.

You can refer this link for further information about Patna medical college .

https://www.careers360.com/colleges/patna-medical-college-patna

Hope this helps!

I got 612 marks. AIR 14000 and OBC rank 5600. I am from Bihar state. I am willing to take admission in PMCH Patna. Can I get with this rank....?

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following -

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

According to previous year data, cut off marks for OBC category candidate for Patna Medical college, Patna was 615 marks and All India Rank 4836 in the year 2019.

Considering the inflation in marks vs ranks and other factors cut off is bound to increase this year for this college.

But from this year only reservation for OBC category candidates is introduced for 27% seats.

So you do have an outside chance of making into this college.

Thank you.

my friend got 400 marks in neet 2021 and he is from obc can he get admission in Patna Medical college

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then

>>>>> with 400 marks

You hold a low chance to get a seat in Patna Medical College, Patna

For example,

in neet  2019 ,   615 marks for obc category was the lowest marks to get  an mbbs seat in Patna Medical College, Patna under Bihar state quota

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their cut off marks in neet 2020,2nd round all india counselling conducted  for 100 % deemed university seats   :-

-----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

I'm a resident of Jharkhand and currently scoring 570 in NEET 21 also I belong to the OBC category. Is it possible to get admission in Patna Medical College?

Hello Aspirant,

See from this year OBCs would get separate seat allotment in there reservation quota and earlier OBCs were getting the seats under General category in All India Quota counselling so it would be bit difficult to predict the admission chances for OBC category in AIQ counselling.

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of your admission chances in Patna Medical College, Patna college.

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have very low chances of getting Patna Medical College, Patna on such marks and category. Because as we go through previous years cut-off data then it shows that the closing cut-off marks were around 620-650 for Patna Medical College, Patna under All India quota for General category and now the OBC category will get separate allotment so we can expect the cut-off for OBC quota around 600.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-
