See as per the JEE MAINS, one need to have the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects in your 10+2 with 75% marks atleast (the marks criteria is taken up by NTA for 2020 & 2021 JEE MAINS due to COVID). SO technically, you are eligible for the course of Engineering through JEE MAINS but remember you have to work hard.

Yes, the candidate would be surely eligible to appear for the JEE main exam as he had cleared the intermediate level examination with PCM as subjects. Adding to it he needs to get a minimum of 75 percentage in PCM aggregate to be eligible for admissions in NIT, IIT, IIIT colleges of India however it was not applicable for this session.

Details
Qualifying exam
Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.
Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.
Age Limit
No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam. Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam.
Total number of attempts
Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.
Subjects
B.E/B.Tech: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).
B.Arch: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
B.Plan: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.
