Safe score to get seat in any government college through general category is 650+.

And for private college is around 600+ (it is estimated)

For other categories it is bit less.

However the cut off score, rank, merit is based on no of factors such as no of students appearing in particular year, qualifying, difficulty level of exam, last year's data and so on.

It keeps on varying every year and as top score is 720 this year, the cut off is raised.
