You have a good academic records that will definitely help you in getting admission in IIMs because the merit list which is made by every IIM after CAT exam to call students for next round of interview and WSAT is made up on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different colleges.

Academic records generally have weightages from 10% - 25% in your aggregate score. Also you will.get additional marks around 3% for being a non engineer in your aggregate score. Still that wont be enough you need to score a good percentile in CAT exam so as to get a call and convert your call because in aggregate score CAT marks have highest weightage.

For top 3 IIMs i.e. IIM A, B and C you need to aim for 92+ percentile to get a call. Aim for 95+ to increase probability of converting your call. For other old IIMs like IIM L, K and I you need to score above 85+ percentile to get a call and same way aim foe 90+ to convert your call. With 80+ percentile you can get calls from all new IIMs.
