The Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) is an exam for admission into Class VI and Class IX at Rashtriya Military Schools. The exam usually takes place in December. To be eligible for RMS Class 6, applicants, both boys and girls, must be aged between 10 and 12 years as of March 31, 2025. For Class 9, candidates must be between 13 and 15 years old as of the same date. The OMR-based written examination will be held in December 2025. Candidates who pass will be shortlisted for the Interview.

The Intelligence test section, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs sections will each have a weight of 50 marks. Students need at least 40% marks in these sections to qualify. To be safe, a minimum of 50% is required for each subject.
