You need to be more specific about your question. If you are an aspirat of English (H) all you need to do is scrore best in your senior secondary exams and start reading classicals, stop reading Chetan Bhagat, Ravindra Singh , Sumrit Sahi and all fancy written works. Try to criticize whatever you have read.
If you're currently a student of English (H), go through the novels and critical essays.
If you do not have time to prepare than look out for summaries of texts, read critical essays, co-relate text with other texts and character with characters of other literary works.
