For getting admission in VIT, you need to give VITEEE.
Admission will be on merit basis.
For being eligible for VITEE you Should have scored 60% and above in Maths,Chemistry and Physics in their 10+2 respective exams. Other then this your boards marks don't play any role.

Vit university takes admission on the basis of ranks scored in viteee exam which is conducted by VIT University every year in order to get admission to any of the VITs the Student or the candidate should be qualified in VIT exam as well as should have at least scored above 60% in their board exams . In vitee exams those who score rank of 1 to 50 they all are awarded scholarship of 75% tuition fees and those score rank of 51 to 100 are awaeded 50% scholarship and those who got rank between 101 to 1000 are awarded scholarship of 25% apart from this students who got more than 1000 rank can also apply for VIT but without scholarship one more important thing you have to be in top 1 lakh students who are appeared for VIT exam because they select only top 1 lakh students for the admission.
