The eligibility criteria for JEE advanced 2019 are as follows:-
1) Candidate should be among top 2,24,000 performers in JEE Main 2019 paper 1.
2) The percentages of various categories are: OBC-NCL (27%), SC (15%), ST (7.5%) and Open Category (50.5%). Within each of these categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.
3) Candidate should be born on or after October 01, 1994.
4) Candidate should not have appeared in JEE Advanced 2018 or earlier.
5) A candidate gets a maximum of two attempts in consecutive years to appear for JEE Advanced.
6) The candidates applying for JEE Advanced 2019 should have appeared in Class 12 in 2018 or 2019 for the first time.
7) The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
8) The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of at least 75% marks. For SC/ ST and PwD candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% as they need the aggregate of minimum 65% marks.
