congratulations on your selection to AIIMS patna, the DD that you are confused about is a security against all your original documents, ie during admission you have to carry and submit a set of documents including Transfer Certificate,Migration Certificate and Pass Certificate of a recognised board. If you decide not to submit these documents then a Demand Draft (DD) of 1 lac is submitted as security which is refundable once your documents are submitted.
