Hello,

Based on our JEE Main rank predictor tool the overall expected rank to be in between 53933 - 60628 . To check the overall percentile and rank you can use our JEE Main rank predictor tool:

Your rank based on category is expected to be around 4000. Considering the previous year cut off you may not get seat in top 5 NITs in the preferred branch. Analyzing the previous year cut off your category rank must be within 3000 to get seat in Computer Science Engineering or Civil Engineering. To check the cut off for NITs and IIITs you can use the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

You may not get seat in NITs or IIITs with such rank but you may have chances to appear for JEE Advanced. So you can prepare for JEE Advanced if you want to get admission in IIT.

Here is the previous year qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main

  • General:90.3765335
  • OBC-NCL:72.8887969
  • EWS:70.2435518
  • SC:50.1760245
  • ST:39.0696101
  • PWD:0.0618524

Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

The estimated rank may vary depending on number of candidates appeared, highest score, normalized marks etc.

If you want to get admission in NITs you need to prepare for JEE Main upcoming sessions and score minimum 96-97 percentile.

hi,

see cutoff score fluctuate every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category , choice of stream and so on.  Nits has  50% of total seat reserve for domicile candidates and remaining seat would be fills by all india quota counselling.  at this score you have fair chances for nits, but it is quite difficult for us to predict exact college or stream right now.

To know about complete list of probable college name, based on your score, category please use Careers360 college predictor tool,
