Hello aspirant ,
Doing mechanical or EEE from NITs is definitely a good option as compared to doing CSE or IT from average colleges as you do get a good starting package.
Moreover doing mechanical and electrical have some advantages of their own too such as govt. Jobs or startups and etc .

Moreover if you perform well you can also apply for branch upgradation.
So do prefer NIT over any private college that you quoted.
