Yes , you do have chances to get preparatory seat in any IIT . You should visit the official website of JoSAA and select the IIT in which you want to stay and prepare for IIT. Choose wisely because this could be your potential future college so keep that in mind. You would stay there and prepare after a year a exam would be held if you pass that then you would direct admission in Under graduate course in IIT. This is not your JEE advanced rank.
