Yes, you can join in any armed force after finishing your MBBS graduation as doctor.Through AMC, The Army Medical Corps you can join in Indian Airforce.You can go for Short Selection Commission after a period of 10-15 years of service you can apply for Permanent Commission and it will be granted based on your performance.

For this you need attend an interview by AMC and there your intelligence, physical and mental health in examined.If you successfully complete the interview the you have to undergo their training.If at any point of time you fail to fulfill their standards you will be terminated.

You will be given a post of Lieutenant at entry level if you possess provisional medical registration.And the promotions are very quick for doctors in armed forces.
