If you are aiming for April attempt of JEE Mains and you come under ST category then you should try to score atleast 100 marks...if you get 100 marks then you can get a lower NIT or average College with good branch...and looking in terms of percentile..you must score more than 90 percentile..then you could be secure.... although marks vs percentile ratio deflects from shift to shift..So you could aim for 95 percentile and that would be really helpful as you could get good NIT at that percentile..
