Hello Student,

Candidates will have three option available after the seat allotment. These Are as follows:

  • Freeze - When the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not wish to participate in the further rounds of counselling.

  • Float - When the candidate is satisfied with the seat but would like to be considered for other institutes during the future rounds of seat allocation.

  • Slide - When the candidate has accepted the seat allotted but is also open for admission into a higher preferred course in the same institute.

You should go for slide option if you want different branch in same institutes.

If you're happy with alloted seat and want higher preferable seat in other institutes then you should opt for Float option.

Hope This information helps you

Best wishes
