Hi Amit,

Candidates appearing for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will have an edge over those appearing for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) in terms of the number of questions to be attempted and nature of the test.

CMAT will have a total of 100 questions across 4 sections (25 questions for each section) that need to be attempted over 180 minutes. This gives candidates ample time to spend on a particular question/ section.

However, candidates appearing for MAT will have to attempt 200 questions across 5 sections (40 questions for each section) that need to be attempted over 150 minutes.

There are many institutes in India that accepts both CMAT and MAT scores.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!
