I would suggest you to go with either LNMIIT or Thapar. Spending so much money in LPU for a meager package is totally not worth it. Take CS at LPU only when you are really inclined towards CS.

If suppose you're not interested in CSE now and later on develop interest there, you can still do coding as most IT companies allow students from all branches to sit for placements.

LPU Placements:

Average package was around 3-4 lakhs. Though companies like Amazon, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS visited the college for recruitment. The highest package offered was Rs. 28 lakhs.

LNMIIT PLacements:

Companies like Samsung, Amazo, Goldman Sachs, IBM, BOSCH Engineering visited the college for recruitment. Average package was Rs. 10.11 lakhs, the maximum being Rs. 36 lakhs.

Thapar Institute:

Average package was Rs. 6.69 lakhs. Companies like Deloitte, Maruti Suzuki, Microsoft, IBM, HSBC, Whirlpool, JP Morgan visited the college for recruitment.

I would suggest have preferred Mechanical at LNMIIT.
