Hey !
Scoring one digit rank isn't anywhere related to the drop years you have taken . It is closely associated with your hardwork . So if you'll put desired efforts into UPSC preparation and in the right direction , you can have one digit rank which isn't quite easy .
Now coming to the drops you have taken , so don't worry there are many students who do jobs after graduation and then do UPSC preparation , so drops are commonly seen in UPSC , and no where hinder the procedure of UPSC preparation , provided you satify the other eligibility criteria.
