Dear Neha,Your rank is not so good.You will not be able to get any NIT or GFTis.This rank is not desirable for any of central funded institute.Still you can start your graduation from your state govt. colleges.Just check out the admission procedure of your state colleges as every state in India have their own admission procedure.So be aware of that.Secondly if you can prepare for one more year and you are capable to handle the stress of JEE then you can also improve your rank.But this is just my personal opinion.You should take decision according to your capabilities.

Please mention your home state. There are chances in your home state(the state from where you passed your class 12th from) because the cutoffs for home state candidates in relatively lower as compared for outside state candidates. So, if you are fortunate enough, you might as well land in the NIT of your choice but I am sorry to say that you have no chance for admission in top NITs and IIITs because the seats fill at 10000 max even for their home state candidates. So, I would recommend you to look for the branch of your interest now because if you are aiming to get CS, mechanical or ECE it would very difficult to take admission in NITs. So choose wisely!
