No directly college cannot place you in army type service.
Army Institute of technology is for only students whose family has any link in army or your father or any family member is in army,so they give admission to only these students .

For entry in technical Department of army you have to give ssc exam or cds exam from where you can get entry in army technical Department.

Sorrry but i don't have any idea about placement of this college regarding army's technical placement but i have idea of other placement.

Yes as this college is situated in pune it has a it hub location where companies do visit and offer good placement because this college is very reputated.
