The Government of Uttar Pradesh created the Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital in Bareilly. The Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India have given their approval to the institute. Administrative blocks, lecture theatres, dormitories, mess, library, hospital, critical care unit, emergency clock, OPD block, blood bank, and other academic and infrastructural amenities can be found on the 42-acre Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital campus in Bareilly. The campus is now being transformed into Bareilly International University, which includes the Rohilkhand Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Rohilkhand School of Nursing, Rohilkhand College of Paramedical Sciences, Rohilkhand College of Pharmacy, Rohilkhand College of Applied Sciences & Technology, Rohilkhand College of Management,  Rohilkhand College of Humanities and Journalism etc.
