Both are good private engineering colleges. MET leads on some edge while SRM leads on other.

Both colleges have good clubs and exposure.

MET is quite more expensive than SRM. Also, SRM has the advantage of being in the metropolitan city of Chennai, making easier transportation by rail/road/air or even water. Also, tech companies regularly hold meetings and events here in Chennai.
