EWS is not a State level reservation. This is an initiative of the Central Government to accommodate Candidates belonging to General Category whose annual income is less than 8 lakhs per annum and who do not avail any benefits of OBC,SC,ST. And so all States accepted to implement EWS reservation across all Academic and Employment sectors. This includes Tamilnadu as well.
