Look branch selection always depends on your choice type of education provided by the college differs a little on the basis of branch so I would suggest you to go with that branch in which you are interested as after some times you will prefer more self study

Both are exceptionally well designed coursesand have n integrated placements  

However placements and opportunities are much more preferable for ECE brnch which is much broader than plain Telecommunications engineering stream. 

ECE students get opportunities even across Software and Hardware manufacturering firms. But Telecommunications engineering get niche job opportunities withTelecom Sector.
