This year GAT applicants- 200000(approx)

People appeared: I dont know the exact figures but there is a fair chance of 3/4th or 3/5 applicants appeared for GAT

People securing GAT rank below 5000 will not join however, they might be have other choices.

GITAM- Vishakapatnam ECE,Mech,Civil,EEE

GITAM- Hyderabad - all branches

GITAM- Banglore - all branches

(It generally depends on the day of your counselling… If the seats are available then go for the best option)

preference- GITAM Vishakapatnam

GITAM- Hyderabad

GITAM - Banglore

Now coming to your rank,

If you compare the three branches of GITAM, Vizag is the best compared to other two. You will get a seat in CSE, ECE, Mech, EEE, CIVIL, etc. If you want aeronautical, then you should choose Hyderabad campus rather than GITAM Vizag.
