Hello Rahul, there are no alternate ways to reduce fees. Since most fee subsidies offered to weaker economic section students are offered in the form of fee refunds either wholly or in some percentage.

You may still talk to the college or JOSAA authorities regarding this, send them a plea mail/application and see their response.

You can however check out welfare schemes for weaker economic section students offered by the central and several state govts.

You may take a bank loan for the course you want to take, and then repay it once you get employed after your degree.
